The Man Behind The Mic

The Saga
Joshua was born on November 24th, 1980 in Charleston S.C. at the age of one his parents packed the family up and moved to Anchorage, AK.  He was there until he was 13 and then moved to Littleton, CO where he attended the now infamous Columbine High School which is the inspiration for the song "columbine".  Joshua was saved at 12 and since then has experienced many tough things in life.  He was called to the ministry at age 17 and shortly after his 18th birthday became the youth/music minister at Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.  there he began working to bring together the first band that he would be lead singer, which resulted in the band overflow.  after much acclaim overflow picked up a new member and changed the name to narrow road which went on to be better known than most expected. He has been in numerous bands, first as a bass guitar player and then a rhythm guitar player and finally a singer.  in Oklahoma he met and married the love of his life, Becky.  They have a wonderful daughter named Taylor, and a son named preston.  they Later moved to Utah where Joshua became the Worship leader at Layton Hills Baptist Church.  He met some guys at a youth event that he was beginning called J.A.M.(jesus and me) Session, and thus Stain Glass Hero Was Born.  after a year Stain Glass hero had already made a very good name in the Christian music community in multiple states.  after some hard decisions and some reluctant cut backs some of the band decided to move in other directions and josh decided to go solo.  now you have the new solo project stain glass hero.  Joshua Believes that music is the medium on which God will use him to reach those who don't normally hear the Word.  If you would like to pray for Joshua please feel free any prayer is welcome.
